Lei Jiang Invited to OLCMA Spring Festival Celebration

On February 27, 2011, Cleveland On Leong Chinese Merchant’s Association (“OLCMA”) held its 2011 Spring Festival Celebration at Bo Loong Restaurant. As the American OLCMA patriarch, Mr. Jiansheng Wu came from Chicago to Cleveland for this event. The president and members of OLCMA came from New York, Pittsburgh, Detroit and other cities to attend the Celebration as well. OLCMA invited Ms. Jiang to attend the Celebration as the President of Chinese Women Association of Cleveland and a representative of Cleveland Chinese lawyers. Almost two hundred people, including representatives from the City of Cleveland, Chinese school presidents, and distinguished Chinese Americans from all areas, joined the Celebration.

American OLCMA was founded in New York in November, 1893. It has established branches in 23 cities across America. OLCMA’s commission is to develop business, promote members’ benefits, and enhance cooperation, and emphasize charity, education, and public welfare. With a history of over a hundred years, OLCMA holds a prestigious role in Chinese American society and is one of the largest Chinese societies in America.
